2016 and the first quarter of 2017 have been productive for PBHS. We are growing and always seeking ways to improve and maintain best patient care; clinical staff has expanded to meet community and referral needs. We serve all age ranges and provide assessments, Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP), individual therapy, Neuropsychological evaluations, couples counseling, and medication management. We are a interdisciplinary team, meaning we work together to take care of any outpatient need you may have. We are proud of our achievements, and seek ways to achieve better outcomes. As part of that dedication, what follows is a review of accreditation information, outcome studies, and patient satisfaction information.
Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF)
Premier Behavioral Health Services recently participated in a Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) survey and received full accreditation for our clinical programs. We are proud of this achievement and are renewed in our determination to provide competent, compassionate services.
Effectiveness of PBHS Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
A test was conducted to measure the effects of the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) on patient reported depression, anxiety and stress. Patient depression, anxiety and stress were measured the beginning and at completion of IOP. Prior to treatment, depression and stress were measured in the severe range, and anxiety was in the moderate range. After completion of IOP, depression, anxiety and stress were all in the normal range.
Patient Participation Satisfaction Survey 2016
Overall program satisfaction of persons served in the adult Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program was measured. Participants completed an online satisfaction survey for the treatment year 2016. Participant responses follow:
(Questionnaires contained responses on a scale from 1 (strongly disagree) to 4 (strongly agree), with 5 an NA response. The report output was in averages from 0 to 4, with satisfaction scores from 0% to 100%.)
The greatest areas of participant satisfaction in order were in the domains of Assessment (99%), Access/admission/orientation (98%), rights (97%), Client health and safety (96%), Quality of care (95%), Cultural competency (95%), Accessibility (94%) Input (93%), and Quality of Life and Treatment Plan (both 89%)
