Intensive Outpatient Programs

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

The Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) at PBHS offer group therapy in a safe, supportive, and validating environment. Treatment provides patients with core skills to cope with life’s challenges and effectively manage mental health and addiction problems.

Our IOPs meet three times per week for three hours. At PBHS, we practice true Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Groups focus on developing skills to help create a life worth living through an eclectic use of music, videos, and multimedia platforms. Each group room is a safe space where your feelings are validated and we focus on learning skills during an 8 week process.

IOPs are offered for both adolescent and adult patients and are covered by most insurances. Have a question regarding insurance coverage? Our expert will help you navigate coverage for our services. We are also able to assist with FMLA paperwork.
