Ebony Elam MSN, FNP-C
Ebony is a board certified nurse practitioner. She received her master’s degree in nursing at Case Western Reserve University. During her time at CWRU, Ebony studied advanced practice nursing and completed over 600 clinical hours providing comprehensive wellness care as well as management of acute and chronic illness. Ebony has clinical experience in hospitals, primary care, nursing home, and home care settings.
Currently, Ebony is treating patients at an inpatient geriatric psychiatry unit at Lake Health Medical Center. She also coordinates the geriatric psychiatry intake department. She is responsible for assessing the need for inpatient geriatric services as well as treatment of patients 65 years and older who struggle with cognitive and mental illness. Ebony is also providing geriatric psychiatry services at local nursing homes and assisted living facilities along with providing care to her patients at PBHS. She works with older adults who struggle with dementia and mood related problems such as anxiety and depression. Ebony is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
