David completed his Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University and Master’s degree in Education from Kent State University. He is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. While completing the Master’s program at Kent, he worked at a Mental Health facility where he worked with patients suffering from depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma and other mood disorders.
David has been in the mental health field for 22 years and recently spent the last 12 years working with the Amish population In Geauga County. He obtained his Independent License from the Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapists Board in (2003). He has experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings. He utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy along with dialectical behavioral therapy and psychodynamic therapy in his approach to treatment. He works with adults and couples and periodically with families.
