Natalie Grandy, Ph.D.

Clinical Psychologist 

Adult IOP Supervisor 

 

Dr. Grandy provides forensic assessments, clinical evaluations, and oversees intensive outpatient programs for our adult population.  During her postdoctoral internship at the Southern Louisiana State University Internship Consortium, Dr. Grandy received advanced training in the provision of individual counseling, group therapy, and therapeutic assessment for university students as well as therapeutic and assessment services for an inpatient forensic population. She specializes in providing initial assessments/intakes for PBHS to best coordinate care for her patients. 

Clinically, Dr. Grandy has been trained in psychodynamic and behavioral psychotherapies (including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy). She adopts an integrative approach to the therapeutic process, incorporating approaches and techniques that are best suited to patients’ individual needs and concerns. Dr. Grandy has experience treating diverse adolescent and adult populations for a variety of mental health diagnoses, including mood disorders, anxiety, and personality disorders, as well as working with concerns related to relationships, family discord, and work/academic difficulties. 

Dr. Grandy completed her undergraduate education in Psychology at Western Michigan University and obtained her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at The University of Akron. Her research has focused on disordered eating in college-aged women and on the effects of various interactions within the therapeutic process.
