Halle Worley, MS

Psychometrist

Halle earned her B.S. in Psychology at John Carroll University, including an internship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center’s Hanna Pavilion. While there, she gained invaluable knowledge and experience with both adult and geriatric inpatient populations afflicted by severe mental health diagnoses such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and addiction. After graduation, Halle followed her passion for improving mental health and continued her work at University Hospitals Geauga Medical Center’s Behavioral Health Unit, integrating Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) skills into inpatient groups. Due to her integrative approach to therapy, incorporating themes and techniques that are best suited to patients’ individual needs and concerns, she has been recognized many times University Hospitals. These accolades include Hero of the Month, the coveted President’s Award, and selection for presentation at the 2018 American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) Conference.

Halle received her Masters from Capella University in Clinical Psychology and is currently working towards earning her Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D) degree in Clinical Psychology, also through Capella University.​ Halle enjoys spending her free time with her family, as well as raising awareness for mental health support and treatment through volunteering for several mental health organizations including the National Alliance on Mental Health (NAMI).

In her current position, Halle conducts neuropsychological assessments, assists with the Adult Dual Diagnosis Intensive Outpatient Program, and provides individual therapy.  She is trained in both Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which she utilizes when working with adults who struggle with substance abuse and various mental health comorbidities.
