Dr. Bahman Sharif is a Board Certified Psychiatrist and the Medical Director at PBHS. He previously served as the Medical Director of the Geriatric Psychiatric Unit at Lake Hospital System. Dr. Sharif began Premier Behavioral Health Services in 2008 with Dr. Farshid Afsarifard with a mission to serve Lake County residents in a timely and effective manner.

Dr. Sharif received his Doctorate in Psychiatry from the Pahiavi (Shiraz) University School of Medicine and completed his residency at Case Western Reserve and Fellowship at University Hospitals.

Previously, Dr. Sharif served as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve Institute School of Medicine along with serving as the Medical Director for the Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board for several years.

Dr. Sharif collaborates with our team of Nurse Practitioners and treats individual patients at PBHS.
