Our Practice

PBHS clinicians follow the dialectical behavioral therapy approach to treatment that includes cognitive behavioral strategies. Validation and support are provided along with skills that enable patients to be more mindful and live in the present moment, manage their moods effectively, deal with stressful situations, and interact in assertive and productive ways with significant people in their lives.

The treatment plan for each patient begins with a psychological evaluation. After meeting with you, your clinician will create a treatment plan best tailored for your goals.  Medications are prescribed by our highly-skilled clinical team. We all work together to provide individual, marital, family, relapse prevention, and group therapy as needed to ensure you manage life's stressors as effectively as possible.

Our overarching philosophy of care is based on a respectful relationship between the clinician and the patient. Our clinicians work as a team to help patients achieve healthy goals and a clear expectation on creating a life worth living. To find out more about our priorities, please view our Strategic Plan, which can be viewed by following this link

If you or someone you love struggles with mental health or addiction problems please contact us for an evaluation.

We offer evening and Saturday hours. Our clinical staff are available to see you within 24-48 hours of your call. We will follow up directly with a primary care provider, if desired, and ensure your treatment plan is in order before you leave. You will never need to wait weeks before seeing your therapist or medication management provider.
